Based in Brisbane, Australia, Sales Pulse was founded and built by Alan Gould, a highly experienced entrepreneur, CTO and Consultant.

Sales Pulse is made up of a product-obsessed team that is deeply aligned with understanding the challenges of sales teams in wholesale supply and distribution.

In the beginning

Sales Pulse was born from a challenge of getting more from sales data. We saw B2B sales teams striving to increase distribution to their accounts, while maximising repeat orders, but never quite hitting the mark consistently.

Formerly custom development and integration specialists, we were surprised to see that ERP and CRM systems typically only consider gross order value. We also found that many wholesale and supply companies manage their sales performance by reviewing monthly and weekly sales volumes for each account.

That works fine for a basic evaluation of customer account performance, but it misses the key details behind how we believe in managing B2B customer accounts most effectively - and this is where we found we could help wholesalers and distributors turn every sales rep into a star performer!
